I understand that some games may and WILL NOT work with firmware below 3.52 so i decided to search the forum, check the net for feedbacks, updates and... successfully converted my PSP to 3.52 M33.
i also updated my firmware to 3.71 M33 already w/ 1.50 kernel support so after upgrading your PSP to 3.52 M33-4 you have the option to update to 3.71 M33 w/ 1.50
Disclaimer: i will not be responsible for any damage it may do to your PSP but hey!!! its already tested....
First of all i will teach you how to update your 3.03 OE-C to 3.52 M33...

Ok, before we start or for you to have an idea or better understand the process you can also watch this

KEXPLOITPATCHER (as seen on the video , for those PSP using 1.50 firmwares or for those who people who went back to RECOVERY using 1.50 you can return back to M33-4 ...trust me it worked for me. this video really helps.
check list:
you need 1.50 firmware, 3.52 official firmware from SONY, and M33 3.52 firmware creator

After downloading these files... let's start!!!
A. Name the 1.50 EBOOT to 150.PBP and the 3.52 EBOOT to 352.PBP.
B. Now take the M33CREATOR folder and place it on your PSP at this location:
ms0:/PSP/GAME150/ or E:/PSP/GAME150/
C. Now place both the 150.PBP and 352.PBP files into the M33CREATOR folder on your PSP.
D. Disconnect the PSP from PC, and from your PSP run the M33CREATOR
note: Make sure your battery charge is above 75% and/or has a charger
plugged in before you do the update. otherwise it will cancel the process.
E. Once finished, it will go back to the XMB (menu screen on your PSP), Go again to
Games/Memory Stick on your PSP, a new icon will be created and execute "3.52 M33UPDATE". You'll have to press X to agree to
the installation.
F. When finished, press X to shut down and reboot manually.
Congrats!!! Your PSP is now CFW 3.52 M33 firmware
you can also update your CFW 3.52 M33 to update 4 , no need to install the 3rd update,

(for other concerns pls read the readme file in the M33 3.52 creator folder)
UPDATES!!! you can now upgrade your 3.52 M33-4 to 3.71 M33 w/ 1.50 kernel support
VERY IMPORTANT... (EVERYTHING IS IN THE FOLDER no need to search for 1.50 addon, 150.PBP, and 3.71 M33 UPDATE)
Your Psp should be in CFW 3.52 M33-4 only PSP FAT not slim FOR THIS TO WORK...
just click here to download 3.71 M33 w/ 1.50 kernel support1) copy this update folder to your game folder and launch it. you should now be on m33 3.71
When finished, the updater will ask you to reboot (pressing X or O). DO IT.
Do not skip this step shutting down the psp by yourself will end with a brick
2) after installing the 3.71 update, delete the folder and replace it with 1.50 UPDATE (just
rename 1.50 UPDATE folder to "UPDATE" and place it in E:\PSP\GAME150 and make sure you put the 150.PBP on the root of your memory stick.) run the renamed folder UPDATE in the xmb and wait until it finishes..
3) ENJOY!!! YOUR PSP IS NOW 3.71 HOMEBREW CAPABLE!!! special thanks to noriegaflow, and my friend Xer2k9
if some of your homebrew dont work in your recovery go to configuration and put "UMD MODE (CURRENTLY: M33 DRIVER -NO UMD-)"
i have renamed the SONY 1.50 EBOOT to 150.PBP. You need to put the "150.PBP" to E:\

note: This is my 1st guide in psp upgrade/downgrade. The reason i created this guide is because to make this as a guide for other gamers who wishes to manually upgrade their psp without pandora.
