PSP System Firmware Updateri would like to advise everyone that this thread is only for Official firmwares directly from Sony. proceed with cautions. if you accidentally updated your psp with an official firmware, your psp will not be able to read downloadable ISO/CSO games unless you have a pandora/universal unbricker to modify your psp back to cfw.
it is required to have a fully charged battery before you update your psp. any interuption during the update process may lead to a "brick".
FYI: these firmwares are usually used in updating your psp's operating system, during any update/downgrade process, if your psp freezes, incomplete update, interupted, or for not known reasons it just shuts downs by itself or self terminated, there is a big chance of bricking your psp which will render your psp useless. for fully hackable psp recovery from brick is possible by using pandora. for unhackable/HEN units: recovery from brick is not yet possible.
Disclaimer: i'm not responsible for any harm or damage done to your unit using the softwares downloaded from this site.
to install: copy the UPDATE folder to your E:/PSP/GAME folder.
for pandora usage: rename the EBOOT.pbp from the UPDATE folder to their respective version (example: if you downloaded 5.00, rename the EBOOT.pbp to 500.pbp) and copy them to your MS ROOT.
